They voted against the Recovery Act, attacked it... then took credit for projects in their districts. They're Highway Hypocrites.

At least 118 Republican senators and representatives have spent the past year railing against the Recovery Act, while simultaneously requesting funds to create jobs in their districts and taking credit for projects at ribbon-cutting ceremonies.

On February 17th, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Today, prominent economists credit the Recovery Act with pulling our economy back from the brink of depression, and the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says the Act has created as many as 3.9 million jobs.
