On February 17th, 2009, President Obama signed the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. Today, prominent economists credit the Recovery Act with pulling our economy back from the brink of depression, and the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office says the Act has created as many as 3.9 million jobs.
