I apologize if this has already been posted. I am working two full shifts all this week so, hey. Click on the image below for video.
Say it isn't so! Obama, please don't say that nuclear power is something that should be explored for energy! And Hillary, no! Don't be agnostic on nuclear power! We need to move to renewable clean sources -- wind, tidal, solar... Not nuclear.
Even though the debate isn't over yet, I have to say I will be proud to support any of our great candidates! I am proud to be a Democrat!
I was pleased that there were two questions on same sex marriage. Dodd and Edwards both don't agree with same sex marriage, though they think civil unions are ok. Richardson did not say he is torn about same sex marriage or that he thinks marriage is only between a man and a woman. Instead, he said we need to focus first on what is achievable. And civil unions are achievable -- along with domestic partnerships, ending don't ask don't tell, etc.
I don`t know anything about the debate on You tube tonight,
could someone be very nice to give me some information about what they have been/are talking about?
Because the debate happens to be at 12.00 pm Swedish time.
Thanks!

I'm a little concerned about the first Democratic Party sanctioned debates being held on CNN. CNN has a decided bias toward Senator Clinton's candidacy. Her videos are posted after all upcoming Democratic field events. CNN reporters use her name when talking about campaign '08 and identify the others by "field". Obama's great fundraising in the second quarter is mentioned as one candidate has broken records for fundraising, not by name.
I'll be watching carefully to see which questions are given to whom in the debate tonight and how much time is given to each candidate. I bet Senator Clinton will get all the questions that play to her strengths, lots of camera time and positive comments prefaced by her name afterwards from the CNN reporters. Everyone else will be the "field".
Does this mean the Democratic Party has taken a stand for Clinton?

We're very excited to announce that with today's Democratic debate, co-sponsored by YouTube and CNN, we'll be liveblogging the debate as it happens tonight at 7pm ET.
But in the spirit of bottom-up, user-generated content that this debate is all about (given that the questions will be submitted by regular folks via YouTube), we wanted to make sure that you also could join us in live-blogging the debate. So all day when you're blogging about the debate, be sure to tag your diary as: July 23rd Debate Read More »

I'm looking forward to tonight's debate. I have heard, however, that CNN plans once again to have Clinton and Obama center stage and the rest of the candidates fanned out based on polling. I am predicting that the airtime might end up that way too. It is a shame because it serves to reinforce front-runner status instead of making all the candidates work. I thought the debate hosted by Howard University was much, much more fair.
(Disclaimer, my candidate of choice, Richardson, will be on the next level along with Edwards.)
