About the Author
Public Access Tv is the way to go! Democracy is based upon free discourse of our ideas, free speech and expression. When the electronic soapbox called public access tv gets completely taken away, the people can look forward to paying thousands of dollars for a 10-second ad, or hope their letter gets published in the local paper.

The Senate measure was pared back from more than $900 billion to entice a handful of necessary Republican votes in support of the legislation. The House bill passed without a single Republican vote in its favor, a rebuke to Obama's vow to take the debilitating partisan heat out of Washington politics.

Republican Sen. John Cornyn of Texas said he expects Obama's stimulus package to pass the Senate, but he warned that it could damage the U.S. economy in the future.

A stark critic of Obama's approach to repairing the badly damaged economy, Cornyn said he believes passing the measure with minimal Republican support must be a major disappointment to Obama. He argued that the president's stimulus package is loaded with pet Democratic spending projects and is "just spending as far as the eye can see."

Republicans claim that Democrats have failed to learn the lessons of history, arguing that an Obama-style stimulus did not work in the 1930s, when President Franklin D. Roosevelt faced similar economic upheaval.   Read More »
Yesterday I heard Amy Goodman, on Democracy Now, politely read this story:

There was no questioning as to the legality of this action. That would be 'Pre 9/11 thinking' and a point made moot by the Patriot Act, among others, that our Congress has passed.

This is the kind of thing that makes me think that Alex Jones, despite being a condescending egomaniac, may be right.

What does everyone else think about our federal military dealing with demonstrators? Hasn't history taught us anything? It's not for our protection, but our subjugation does power use a heavy hand on its people.

On June 6th, 2008 the average price of gasoline across the nation rose to $4 per gallon. “There’s nothing worse for our economy than surging energy prices at record highs,†said Mark Zandi, Chief Economist for Moodys.com. What do Jesse James and Big Oil have in common? Nothing if you believe the legends of Jesse James, who supposedly robbed from the rich and distributed his ill gotten gains to the poor. Big Oil robs from all of us and keeps the ill gotten gains for themselves.   Read More »

With this blog the 100,000 point level has been broken, and even though the points do not covert to cash they do show how much work you can do. If I the dial up boy can top 100,000 point level in six months then I know everyone else can do it too, so the more all of you use this website the more our right to freedom of speech is exercised. Please contribute your efforts as much as possible here, and rock n’ roll this country back to a democracy that we can all be truly proud to say is the best.

Americans are becoming completely disheartened by this primary season of ours for a multitude of reasons. Our voice doesn't count. The media picks who they want. Voting machines are rigged. Corporate money muddles the process. Superdelegates, for some unconstitutional reason, have a much stronger form of political speech than the rest of us. Many americans can't even define the electoral college.

In short, our presidential selection process does not serve the best interests of our people, our process, or our nation. Folly lies both in the primary and caucus systems. This is partly do to the variances from state to state. With a federally defined selection process we can create transparency, enthusiasm, and most importantly a fair system.   Read More »

From my understanding there is a need for poll watchers needed for the polls on 02-05-08, and if you are interested you need to contact either me to pass it on to the person that got me into it here in Missouri, or you should contact someone locally ASAP. I do not know which states are in need of poll watchers, or exactly which polling places need them, but I will post a list of states below that are voting on 02-05-08.

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Utah

Just look back over the last twenty years there has never been a single month with deflation, and millions of Americans do not make a penny more in wages really.
