With its roots in local canvassing in 2005 by the Campaign for a Democratic Majority, the Burbank Democratic Club was founded March 28, 2006 and was soon chartered by the Democratic Party as an affiliate on Aug. 12, 2006, as one of several area clubs, returning one to the “Media City” for the first time in decades.

The System Worked Perfectly

For all the complaining about the primary process, in the end it worked just fine. All delegates are not created equal, each state can chose how to elect those delegates, but in the end, we had had two really amazing candidates and a party split nearly in half and we got a result! And as the superdelegate accept that result, the margin for the winner increases to a point where no can dispute who the winner is. There was only one mistake in the process and that was penalizing MI and FL 100%. But even that was resolved to the satisfaction of the majority of democrats. Nice Job DNC.
