Today is primary day for local, state, and US congressional races. I have been particularly interested in the Demo Senate race...We have to get someone to unseat Saxby Chambliss! I just saw this on CNN and thought it very interesting. A US soldier is suing the military regarding his negative treatment since he became an athiest...He doesn't want money just a guarantee of freedom of religion within the military.

On Jackie's KKK post there were comments about the Confederate Flag....I grew up in the south and still live here. Many people view this flag as part of their heritage and display it proudly. Personally, I see it as a symbol that embraces racism. Several states currently have state flags that incorporate aspects of this symbol.
