Who does she think she is coming on here and starting a blog?" Well, MAYBE I have some real issues and questions I have to get off of my chest about the future that I'm staring at, as a college student making a stab at the only career I happen to be good at: Music. I'm not a drug user, a porno queen, or a suck up. I recently quit my job as a part time employee for Viacom/CBS Radio after over 5 years because the world is full of corruption. I have a lot to write about. I have a feeling I'm not the only one, but then again I could be wrong about that. After all, I'm just a musician.
Cindy McCain. I had some really great photos I'd like to have added to this post but my settings won't let me copy-paste. I'll just go ahead and let anyone reading use thier own imagination.
One was of a sexy, blond prostitute type in a leather suit with her legs spread open over a motorcycle. It was a Budweiser ad.
Another was of a lady who hardly has a face anymore in comparison to the "before" picture of herself with a caption that reads: "Not everyone dies in drunk driving accidents."
Another was of a couple of very small children (under five) drinking out of steins at an Oktober Fest. (Anheuser Busch?)
Another was of teenagers doing keg stands and drinking from beer bongs.
Some were just of carnage and wreckage from drunk driving accidents.
Another was of a few underage girls that were in black tank tops and underwear playing a sexy game called "Beer Pong."
If I go to youtube.com right now there is a still frame that flashes on and off at me along with all the other currently "promoted videos." It was of two teenage girls who were both on their knees with thier legs spread apart over a bed, wearing only strips of cloth over thier nipples, and they were pressing cans of (you guessed it!) up against thier breasts. It was given the title "Bedwetting." Sort of "naughty" of them, wouldn't you think?
Just a way of life for so many of us? What about for those of us who won't go NEAR a glass or can of beer? Maybe that has something to do with that fact that we're all just such good God fearing Christians? Maybe we just can't stand the way it tastes, let alone the way it smells. Maybe we truly HATE the way it tears families apart, and destroys friendships and relationships, promotes poor judgement, promescuity, unprotected sex, STDs like HIV and hepatitis, teenage pregnacy, drug abuse, drunk driving accidents, other drunken related accidents, fighting and violence, rape, incest, child molestation, infidelity, all types of medical conditions mostly kidney and liver failure, but also diabetes, brain damage, ulcers, obesity, and bladder problems. Alcoholism is alcoholism, even if it's just beer. Cindy McCain wouldn't know a thing about that though, would she?
As if I have no right, as if I'm not allowed to even TALK about it, I can hear it now: "Do NOT pass judgement on this woman. You do not KNOW her. You'll live to regret it."

Well, first I hear every man, woman, and child RESPONSIBLE for $2,500 of the debt, but then suddenly I hear on the radio that it would be more like $10,000. I can't even get the figure right. All I know is I can't afford it. I can't afford it if it's $2,500. I can't afford if it means paying back the stimulous check amount I just barely had my hands on for less than a year that suddenly I'm looking at having to give up. I'll have to take out a LOAN just to pay my share of the debt that has accumulated that I am now partly responsible for!! (Deja vu anyone?) Is this "first we'll make you think that you can have it because you really deserve it, and because we can afford to give it to you, but then we'll yank it away when you need it most" principle going to be the way people with real power are going to operate from now on? I can feel the WATER coming over my head. Well, I heard it described as a "tsunami." Tsunamis wipe people out. Lots of people.
If we don't pay, where will they put us all? In jail? Will they start building concentration forced labor camps where we'll all have to slave in order to pay our share of the debt? WELL, AT LEAST WE WOULD BE WORKING!!!

Since 2006, is that how long they said they'd been planning a debate? As if it had just been thrown together at the last minute or anything. And what was that price tag I heard again to prepare a campus for this particular insignificant debate? Not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but that's right: 5 MILLION $$$. Anybody think a debate is still on?
The state of Mississippi (I spelled it right!) still does. Here comes the governor just this morning to tell us all that Toyota and General Electric are on pins and needles. Yup, that's right. Pins and needles...

It's been swimming through my head now for days: The image of a thousand or more beautiful British Columbia license plates I'll see flood into this valley by the end of October. Another two thousand or so will be from Alberta and at least another 500 more will be from Saskatchawan. The snowbirds. That's what we locals often refer to them as. Part-timers is another term. They are the part time residents who own homes in my surrounding area. Very, VERY nice homes. I don't know approximately how many of them flock to this area each year. That's just a rough estimate of the number of licenses plates I'll actually see while driving around town.
Which nation do you really belong to if you spend most of the time in Canada and then just your winters in my city here in the United States? Sure, there are plenty of Mexicans who have obtained legal work permits to come here to the valley and pick grapes when it's grape picking season and you could consider them "part-timers" but THEY aren't US citizens and therefore do not have the right to vote. Besides that, I doubt very much that any of them own a home here. So, what does it mean to be a part-timer with houses in other countries, as far as the right to vote in US elections? Likewise, if someone from my area goes to live in the home they also own in Canada, only in the summertime, are they allowed to vote in Canadian elections?
My dad is a full time local resident in a retirement community who has a part time nieghbor from Canada that's always pushing him around, telling him to trim back his citrus trees when they've overgrown to the other side of the fence. They tell him that if he does not trim his trees they will report him to the HOA (Home Owners Assoc). Every year, my dad being a good neighbor will always "make way for their magesties." I've always felt that if the citrus trees are so much of a problem to them, they should be the ones to trim them away, especially being that my father is a white haired old man who has to climb a ladder every time the trees need to be trimmed. I would actually love if someone else's trees would drop free citrus in my yard, but the part timers simply don't see it that way. They've even tried to make him chop his trees down, claiming that they attract rats. I thought, "What is WRONG with them? My dad doesn't have any RATS!!"
It makes me wonder about them and if these Canadians are allowed to vote since, after all, they do own a home here. It also made me wonder which presidential candidate they would be most likely to vote for in a US election. Then again, I thought to myself,"If they aren't really US citizens, are they REALLY allowed to vote?"

All I can really say about tonight's speech is: If only Al Gore had been elected president!!!
Shocking isn't it? Well, considering all we've seen, actually it shouldn't be. I love the figures, according to CNN this evening with Lou Dobbs, I'm seeing on the poles:
96% disapprove bailout
6% approve
(Yup. I'd say that sounds about right. Anybody here a math wiz?)
I also love this "who-called-who-first" struggle now between Obama and McCain. At approx. 8:30 am this morning, Obama calls McCain, then McCain thinks about it and says,"Well, alright, but I'll have to put my whole campaign on hold plus postpone the debates." The female commentator for the republicans on "who called who" upon realizing that it's been discovered that Obama was up early this morning making phone calls says,"Well, Obama called McCain at 8:30am yes, but he didn't actually get the call put through. Then, at 4:30pm McCain called Obama and said that he had made his decision and THAT's when HE told OBAMA that he should come to Washington with him."
I was thinking to myself,"Embarrass yourself a little more, Ms.Commentator. If McCain never received Obama's phone call then what exactly was it that he felt he needed to call him at 4:30pm today to make some sort of a "decision" on?"
I thought it actually quite hilarious to hear Pres. Bush describing to us this evening, like some sort of a professor of Math, just how exactly it was that the country got itself into this mess! As if we all are totally clueless as to what the newspapers have been printing now for so many months.
As if we're all going to get paid back or something he tells us that, as taxpayers, we'll all more than likely receive our money back in due time. However, we don't have any real receipt or "money back gaurentee" as far as what it is that we're REALLY paying for here without any court of law being allowed to see ANY sort of a paper trail what so ever. Accountability??? Very politely they're saying to 96% of us all, "FUCK ACCOUNTABILITY!!! AND FUCK Y'ALL TOO!!"
Then, they show us pictures of people returning to Galveston for the first time today with Charlie Gibson on another channel, and all I can think about is the book of John, the dark and the light, and I'm not someone who really takes the Bible literally, but there's a chapter in Proverbs, Chap. 30 at verse 10 that reads: "Do not slander a servant to his own master, that he may not call down evil upon you, and you may not have to be held guilty. There is a generation that calls down evil upon its father and that does not bless even its mother. There is a generation that is pure in its own eyes but that has not yet to be washed of its own excrement. There is a generation whose eyes have become O how lofty! and whose beaming eyes are lifted up. There is a generation whose teeth are like swords and whose jawteeth are like knives, to eat up the afflicted ones off the earth and the poor ones from among mankind." I thought about how these people had nice homes on a beachfront property in Galveston, but they were still just pissants compared to someone with a private jet.
I must say I agree with those who think that these fraudulent criminals need jailtime and not "bail money." AND NOW, the kicker: we can't stop a war we've been blowing all the tax dollars on or anything, instead we can just invade our own country and force them to comply or else.
If they starve us all to death will anyone be shocked?
