I want to offer my congratulations to some on this blog for the victory of Senator, now President-Elect, Obama on their efforts in his election to the highest position in this land. It has been a long election process and the efforts of many were seen through this victory.

I am a property owner and pay my taxes which goes to the school system. I will admit I have been trying to find out how Senator Obama plans on paying for the additional teachers he is telling America he is going to employ.
My question is simple, where is the money going to come from in hiring these teachers and how is the local school boards going to be involved in this hiring? Does this mean my property taxes will go up?

I watched and commented as many of you trashed Senator Clinton, I watched as many of you said you would never vote for her, I watched as many of you said you would withhold any monies if they were going to pay off her campaign debt and yet today I see some of you saying Hillary will rip her (meaning the new Rep. VP candidate) to pieces. What makes you think this is Hillary's job?
Senator Clinton is Senator Clinton now, campaigning for the Democratic nominee. Why is it necessary to bring her up? Why does this party still involve Senator Clinton? How about Governor Richardson ripping into the new Republican VP candidate or Sen. Edwards? But better yet, how about the Honorable Nancy Pelosi taking a stand against this person in waiting?

Today I was able to read bits and pieces of a blog written by Blueberry in which people were calling for the return of Shopman. Shop is a friend of mine, but I was just confused. When the moderator banned Jack and everyone asked for him to return, he did so, but under a new email address. Ok, fine. So, is the issue that Shopman can't return at all or is it you want him to be known as Shopman again or Thee Shopman as he is currently registered under? Just a little clarification on my part. Thanks.

I think people better try other talking points besides Senator Clinton with less than 12 weeks before a General Election.

What effect do you think the Edwards scandal will have on Elizabeth's mission towards health care? She knew this for two years and kept silent as well. Will she still be effective in our quest for universal health care?
I have been here for more than a day or two and I am asking for a reasonable explanation as to why people are now being banned. I do not need to know the usual name calling reasons, as that speaks for itself. However sir, on this page it states:

Sir, this is a broad range of area and if it is your sole discretion on what is offensive, maybe we need to know such. Not so long ago Senator McCain became the presumptive nominee and FOS went after Ms. McCain to which our PB member Liz defended her. Now it seems as though a member was banned for posting something pro Ms. McCain as well.
I do not need to read the links to your posts as I have read them before however sir, I do want to know just what do you find offensive when someone posts a positive about a woman doing a good thing in the rest of the world. I rightly don't care what politics she follows, we are Democrats and we do educate people - rescuing children is a part of our humanitarian effort - that is those of us that care.

Just walked into the stadium on NBC and the crowd was very well receptive. My favorite Univeristy of IL grad was there to do IL proud, Deron Williams. Christ why can't the world be at peace like the Olympics should be?

Just got off the phone with Jake and Joey and he is doing just fine. Everything went well and he is enjoying the drugs right now. ;o) He is up and on the move, they were heading to an Obama meeting as a matter of fact.
I really want to express to you my sadness in this confession of Senator Edwards today. I know many of you on PB were supporters of him and it has came as a shock and stings terribly. Just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you.
