The McKinney Police Department of McKinney Texas has taken to a liking to following me home from work. I take the same way home every day and notice the police on highway 380 allot. I always go the speed limit and usually set my cruise control at 40 miles a hour. Police seem to frequent 380 at this time in the morning. I would like to say that I have never said any thing bad about the police on line, or any where else. My father was a police officer and growing up and living in the same town he was a police officer for more than half my life, I have paid my dues and then some; as the son of a police officer.

Speaking of paying my dues I work harder in one night; than most people work in a week at my job. When I get off work I am so tired; it is unreal. The last thing I need after work is a police officer following me so close behind me; for two blocks; he almost hits me.

In my opinion too much pressure is being put on police here in Collin County to meet quotas and such. Of course I do not blame the police for this. I blame the obscene amount of money spent on the prison system of Collin County and the want to make a profit of all this. Politian’s are to blame and the decades of right wing republican rule here.

Driver Leads Police on Five-County, Two-Hour Chase

The driver of a Ford F-150 pick up truck led Van Alstyne and Dallas police on a chase Friday across parts of Grayson, Collin, Dallas, Ellis and Navarro counties.

The chase started just before 11 a.m. in southern Grayson County in Sherman when Clinton Middleton, 22, allegedly tried to leave a gas station without paying for gas, Van Alstyne police said. Police said Middleton also tried to run over an officer in Melissa at some point after the alleged theft -- sparking the chase.

Middleton, who is from Galveston, led officers on a chase into Richardson, through Garland and Mesquite and back south into Dallas. On what appeared to be the fourth attempt at using a spike strip, the spike tore through the driver's side rear tire -- bringing the chase to a slower crawl.

During the two-hour chase, Middleton could be seen on Chopper 5 video sometimes waving at rubberneckers along the rural roads in Navarro County. He later told reporters he was waving at his girlfriend.

"I was talking to her the whole time," Middleton said.

Middleton was driving along FM 1129 near FM 85 in Navarro County just after 1 p.m., when police boxed him in. One officer bumped Middleton's truck from behind, spinning it out, and forcing Middleton to run into a flooded ditch -- where he got stuck.

Officers then surrounded the vehicle, pulled Middleton from the truck, and took him into custody.

Middleton has an arrest warrant out of Galveston, said Van Alstyne Police Chief Robert Spindle. Sitting handcuffed inside a police cruiser he told reporters he didn't pull over because he had a warrant out for his arrest and didn’t want to go to jail.

When asked if he was trying to hit police officers, Middleton said "no".

"He ran into the middle of the highway and I swerved to miss him," he explained. "If I would have kept going straight, yeah, I would have hit him, it's not my fault he ran into the middle of the road."

Middleton faces a theft under $50 charge, a felony charge of assault on a police officer and a felony charge of evading police, Spindle said. He said he expects more charges will be filed later.

Middleton has a long criminal record that includes burglary of a building, evading police and credit card abuse, according to public records.

Separation of church and state. Without it there would be no America. Sally Kern needs to take some old fashioned American history lessons on the birth of our great country. The pilgrims came to America to escape religious persecution that Sally Kern’s promotes so zealously.

I can tell you this I am well versed in American history. Growing up in Connecticut you are required to know American history. It is hammered into your head from grade one. It was not until I attended Haddam Killingworth High School until I realized the absolute importance of it all. Since then, (my freshman year) I have become fascinated by it. I visited the state capitol often since then. As I have visited Austin, Texas often as well; when my wife was in the military out of Killeen, Texas.  I was the first freshman to letter in Haddam Killingworth High School. I have that letter hanging in my kitchen today.

Since that history class in Haddam Connecticut I have visited the oak tree on the Wyllys estate, the Charter Oak.

Sources have said that seven people were arrested in the raid although witnesses at the scene said many more people were handcuffed with zip ties and taken out of the bar.
One man, identified by his sister as Chad Gibson, was in the intensive care unit at Fort Worth’s JPS Hospital with bleeding in his brain after officers threw him to the ground and used zip-ties to handcuff him.

The raid happened on the 40th anniversary of the Stonewall rebellion.

I could not believe I found these people on the internet. As soon as I found them I joined right away. If you are a freedom loving Democrat then please join up with these good people. If you live in Collin County, Texas and you’re a Democrat then you should see the immediate need for you to join. This is not about gay or straight it is about human rights. If you are gay and living in someplace like Collin County, Texas, you are considered a threat to society; it seems like that. It is almost like gay people have taken the place of other prejudices. This makes it even a more threatening situation for use all. I have been saying this for as many years as I have been on the internet: if you can take away this persons human rights then why not that person and so on and son till non of us have freedoms at all. One thing is for sure it is a common every day occurrence to hear gay bashing here. I have no drought that gay people are targeted by any and all recourses to take away any Constitutional Rights due to them as Americans. It may not even be on a conscience level that people down grade gay people. All the more reason to make it a conscience thing in everyway we can.

I am absolutely amazed that people are oblivious to politics and human rights organizations like the ACLU and Collin County Gay and Lesbian Alliance. I talk to people who are obviously victims of right wing closed mindedness, here in Collin County and yet they have no idea how to email their senator. I am doing every thing I can to make people politically active in favor or a democrat majority and I hope every democrat does the same. When someone in Collin County, Texas, or your county; tells you about how they have been wronged make sure you remind them that the blame can always be traced somehow to some right wing fascist republican. Just asking someone to complain to their senator is good enough. If you live in a county like mine; that senator is usually a right wing extremist republican.

Every democrat has at least that responsibility. Just simply say to someone next time you here a hard luck story, “email your senator”. Or “call your senator”, then explain to them how they could find out who their senator is by using the internet. The best way to do this is like on my business car, “google it”.

The internet is a wonderful indispensable tool. I can honestly say absolute not one painting on my web site would be possible without the internet, in some form or another. I am constantly using the internet to find information on what I am painting and many of my paintings come from my versions of photo reference I have found on the internet. The library’s of the entire world could not compare to the vast always updated information; found on the internet.

Don’t get me wrong I believe in books. Just the fact that Hitler burned books makes me see that. I love books and use them all the time as well.

The war needs to end ASAP. We can not afford to have our men in danger because we are not fully committed to the war. Yes, just like Vietnam. You can not be in limbo during a war. You must be fully committed or back off quick. Though I have not voiced myself ever fully about the war; I have always been against it, deep down. It has always seemed like a invasion to me verses a war. This is a republican made war and we need to tell the world that by ending it now.

A Monumental Day For USA

I have been a registered Democrat since 1997. I have been waiting and waiting for this day to come. I have had blogs on Democrat.org for about 8 years now, in support of a Democrat rule of America. How many years has it been since the Democrats have had a majority rule of our capitol? How many of our freedoms have been taken away since then. How many of our fellow citizens have suffered under right wing oppression? If you look at that as a whole you will see that this moment in history is much more than just a new president. I can see no time in the history of our government that power has been abused by the republican party so much. I can see no other time in the history of our country that the voters have turned it all around.

It’s not just about the first Black president. It’s about the American people joining together and saying enough is enough. The vote was undeniable. I still think Gore should have won against Bush in the first Bush election. This is a new day for freedom in our country. I do not think we should focus on; this is the first black president, that should not matter at all. Allot of black people did not vote for my hero Obama. I was in line voting my straight democrat ticket and 3 black people were standing behind me in line. I turned around and put my fist up in protest and said to them. “I’m voting for Obama”. All 3 of them gave me a dirty look. The black guy directly behind me started to argue with me. Keep in mind that this is Collin County, Texas; where if u have a democrat bumper sticker on your car your car gets vandalized. Now every time I see a black person in McKinney, Texas, they are all pro Obama. I am not complaining though maybe it will make democrats out of them.

I know the economy will improve, the democrats through out history have always been better with the economy. The republicans idea of a good economy is; the poor get poorer and the rich get richer. The republicans are heartless and out of touch with the people of America. The democrats are the people of America, with their finger on the pulse of our great country.

Here is to this great day. Here is to no more repression and oppression. Here is to no more illegal spying. Here is to no more Guantanamo Nazi camp. Here is to human and constitutional rights for all Americans. Here is to no more human rights violations in America and by our hand in other countries. Here is to no more death penalty. I would like to make it clear that some people do disserve to die for their murderous crimes. When you have a machine like the huge billion dollar industry, such as the Texas prison system, innocent people have and do get executed. There were 54 innocent people executed in Texas last I checked, don’t forget this is a republican state. The death penalty does not work. Other country’s like France have learned this lesson. Why cant we?

Impeach Bush Before He Pardons Himself

According to Seymour Hersh there is a conga line of insiders waiting
until January 20th to spill the beans on the gross criminality of the
Bush/Cheney administration. Waiting . . . because if they did it now
the two of them would be tarred and feathered on the way out the
door.

But we the people do not have to wait. We can and must demand the
immediate impeachment of both Bush and Cheney for what is already
known. At the very least the defiance of congressional subpoenas at
the behest of the White House is an open and shut case for
accountability now.

Because as his final constitutional insult, his final spit in the
face to the American people and all rule of law, it is transparently
obvious that Bush is planning the most wholesale and wrongful pardon

truly is called for, or shut the hell up in 73 days.

I found out this morning from my spouse that Barack'’s grandma died. She told me that he was very close to her. I was also very close to my grandma. I called my grandma: gramy and my gramy called me Ricky. I was called Ricky by all my friends growing up. Ricky was always my favorite name for myself.

For years as a child I would spend weekends with my gramy and my grandpa. My mom had to stop me from doing that because she said I was being spoiled. My mom was probably still suffering from a bad divorce from my dad. I have always hated being called Richard, because that is what my mom called my dad and she would call me that when I was in trouble.

I did not find out until I was around 20 years old that my dad tried for years to get back with my mom and my mom had a affair with a wealthy man just after she left my dad. I loved my dad and related to him most because he was a only child of my gramy and grandpa. Although I have a sister and two brothers I still always felt like a only child because they seemed invisible to me.

I felt like gramy and grandpa’s only child too. My gramy meant more to me than any other relative I ever had. So I understand what Barack' must be going through.

The one thing I can say to Barack': is it seemed like when things got better for me is when my grandparents left. I think that Barack'’s grandma left because things got better for Barack'.

My gramy died about 6 years ago shortly after my grandpa died. I am certain that my grandparents died because of stress I was going through at the time; here in the right wing capitol of the world: Collin County, Texas. In fact I could not go to the funerals because of that same reason.

One thing I am certain of: is that my grandparent’s were both democrats.

I basically am quoting this from a email I got. The solution to all crime for the republicans is either prison or the death penalty. I like to think the democrats want to stop crime before it happens at the root. The republicans ignore the root of crime because they are the root of crime.

Troy Anthony Davis is currently on death row in Georgia and his execution had been scheduled for September 23rd, 2008. Two hours before he was to be killed he received stay from the U.S. Supreme Court pending its decision as to whether it will hear his appeal. On October 14, 2008, the Court denied his request for relief so that his evidence of innocence could be heard in a legal proceeding. Just one day later, Troy Davis' execution was set for October 27 at 7pm EST. In 1991, Troy was convicted in the murder of off-duty police officer Marc MacPhail largely on the basis of eyewitness testimony—no physical evidence links him to the crime. Since his trial, seven of nine eyewitnesses have recanted their original statements, yet federal law prevents these new eyewitness statements from being heard. I voted democrat today. I am amazed at how many people were out voting first thing in the morning, in the cold. My wife tells me every time she drives by the voting place on Redbud Street, there are lines going out the door. I am sure this is a good sign for the democrats, I think that more people are voting for change. Normally I would be the only one voting early every year. This year lines out the door has got to be good for us.

Democrats improve the economy. It is a fact through out the history of the United States.

I voted straight ticket only because in Collin County, Texas so few democrats run that it is always the best bet. I was please to notice that allot more democrats were running for office in Collin County this time. There were still blank spots where democrats were not running at all.

People say to me move if you don’t like where you live. I am going to continue to fight for a better Texas and a better Collin County, instead.

Since I have never been able to travel as much as I want, Meeting people from other countries has always been the next best thing for me. I have always loved people from India. It took me along time of talking to different people from the middle east to be able to distinguish them. I like them all, that I have met here in America, but my favorite are the people of India. I have always cherished movies by Wes Anderson. His most recent movie “The Darjeeling Limited” is no exception. I have always said I would like to ride the train through India and seeing that movie was almost like the same thing.

Lets all hope together that the violence stops in India.

Lets all hope Obama wins the presidential elections and we can finally make progress in ending our fighting in the middle east.

I made a animation for that song, I liked it that much. You will probably never see it though. I have about 3 hours of animations I made before I just gave up because it seemed like I was spinning my wheels.

Unbelievable! I can not believe how smug the New Yorker is about all this. It is like I woke up in crazy land.

I did not know The New Yorker Was a enemy of the Democratic Party. Apparently they are.

We need to believe they are all right wing fanatical republicans and not buy their magazine and avoid all the products they sell in the magazine as much as possible.

I hope someone makes a web site outlining all the products that advertise with The New Yorker magazine and boycott them.

The New Yorker, Obama Seach On Google

I took the banner down after about two weeks. My art show is coming up and there should be allot of people checking out my site that have never seen it. About around 2003 after I shut my web site down for about 2 years, I decided to keep all politics and complaining off my web site. I think that statement speaks for itself. I am not any less committed to seeing Obama become president. 

This is a really beautiful quote. I linked it to the find events page. I could not believe I found a event in Melissa, the next town over. 

I have reached a point where I do not want to paint. I should not look to blaming this or that. I have so many paintings on my wall it is not even funny. My closet is half full with really good paintings. I have a huge back up of paintings right now. I think I just need a break for now. Maybe I will reinvent myself as a painter or something. I think I need to back up for a while, I do not know, I can not tell the future of my art.

I am glad someone commented on my science fiction painting. Did you know the summer before last summer I completed a 17 painting science fiction fantasy series. All are done on gessoed art board. 90% of those paintings are in a crate. I have 3 or 4 that are so great I had to hang them. The last painting I did was a sci fi fantasy painting of me on a dragon, about two weeks ago.
